| dc.description.abstract | The current study evaluates the determinants of human perception regarding the adoption of automation in production processes of manufacturing firms and how this transformation will affect the operational performance of the manufacturing organizations. In order to do so, managers from manufacturing firms oflslamabad and Rawalpindi, Pakistan are provided with an adapted questionnaire. The data is collected from collected from 203 managers and treated with regression analyses to evaluate the impact of technological readiness, workers' wellbeing and labour management effectiveness on perception about automation and operational performance of the manufacturing firms. The results reflect that all the relationships are significant between independent and dependent variables except labour management effectiveness doesn' t significantly affect the perception of automation | en_US |
