dc.description.abstract This study is to examine the impact of human resource management practices (recruitment & selection, training & development, promotion practices, and compensation & social benefits) on employee commitment within textile industry of Pakistan. In this study, our focus was mainly on identifying the impactful relationship that exist amongst HRM practices and employee commitment within textile industry of Pakistan. To prove the relationship between dependent variable (employee commitment) and independent variables (recruitment & selection, training & development, promotion practices, and compensation & social benefits), a structured questionnaire has been used to collect data from the officials associated with the textile industry of Pakistan. Based on the data collected from the respondents through structured questionnaire, several hypothesis tests were applied. Results of those hypothesis tests have clearly indicated that there exists a positive relationship between HRM practices and employee commitment within textile industry of Pakistan. Some statistical instruments such as descriptive frequencies, reliability, correlation, regression, ANOV A, and coefficients were used by the researcher to conduct this study. Finally, it can be said that HRM practices tend to have a strong positive effect on the employee commitment within textile industry of Pakistan. en_US
