Abstract:
This study has focused mainly on identifying the impact of employee creativity on organizational innovation with mediating effect of extrinsic motivation. This study has used employee creativity as independent variable, extrinsic motivation as mediating variable, and organizational innovation as dependent variable. However, telecom industry of twin cities of Pakistan has been the sector chosen for this study and employees working in telecom industry of twin cities of Pakistan have been finalized for data collection. Research instrument used within this study for the collection of data from respondents has been the structured questionnaire. Various statistical instruments (such as descriptive frequencies, reliability, correlation, regression, etc.) have been used primarily to identify the relationship between variables of this study. Results have been drawn through statistical instruments mentioned above, with the help of SPSS software. Based on the findings, it has been found that there exists a positive relationship between employee creativity (independent variable), extrinsic motivation (mediating variable), and organizational innovation (dependent variable) in telecom industry of twin cities of Pakistan. Conclusively, this study has proved that employee creativity significantly impacts extrinsic motivation and organizational innovation, and extrinsic motivation significantly mediates the relationship between employee creativity and organizational innovation in telecom industry of twin cities of Pakistan.
