dc.description.abstract This study is focused mainly on identifying the impact of psychological empowerment and motivation on employee retention with mediating effect of job satisfaction in health industry of Islamabad. In this study, psychological empowerment and motivation have been considered as independent variables. Whereas, job satisfaction has been considered as the mediating variable. However, employee retention has been used as the dependent variable. Meanwhile, this study has finalized health industry of Islamabad to testify the relationship between psychological empowerment, motivation, job satisfaction, and employee retention. To prove this relationship, a survey has been conducted through a structured questionnaire by involving physicians working in healthcare firms of Islamabad, as these respondents have been requested to share their experiences by filling the structured questionnaire. Then, data analysis has been done based on collected data through various statistical instruments including descriptive frequencies, reliability, correlation, regression, ANOVA, and coefficient. Results have revealed that there exists a significant relationship between psychological empowerment and motivation (independent variables), job satisfaction (mediating variable), and employee retention (dependent variable) in health industry of Islamabad. en_US
