dc.description.abstract | This research titled Artificial Intelligence and its National Security Implications: A Case Study of Pakistan, focuses on Artificial Intelligence and its application and implications for the national security of Pakistan in military, political and economic domain. Research in Artificial Intelligence is rapidly growing around the world as Artificial Intelligence is among the fastest-growing fields of technology. Several developed and developing countries are working on the development of Artificial Intelligence such as the USA, China, Russia, Europe, and developing countries like India and Pakistan. The main aim of this study is to investigate, thoroughly analyse its application and implications for the National Security of Pakistan and Its Impact on State of Pakistan specifically in enhancing security, economic and political domain. In this study neo realism has been applied for analysis, interpretation and hypothesis testing. This study was based on the qualitative analysis of the available data and literature on the issue. Secondary sources are used to conduct this research, which have included the review and analysis of the previously available data. Development on the subject and source of information is the internet, which is utilized widely to conduct the research. The study has found that Artificial Intelligence is a revolutionize the national security. Further the study has revealed that Artificial Intelligence is being uses as a tool of automation of national organisational processes in national security. The study also found that national cyber security can be achieved through Artificial Intelligence. The study has suggested that Artificial Intelligence can be a tool of augmented intelligence in national security. Further the study recommended that Pakistan needs to focus on Artificial Intelligence for national digital security of Pakistan.
