dc.description.abstract This study investigates on the financial analysis of Pakistan Super League. The data was collected and analyzed through the content analysis method. Mixed-method research was used. Which means both qualitative and quantitative data were collected. Sampling was done through the purposive sampling technique. Hundred different articles related to PSL, Pakistan's economy, and PSL's effects on Pakistan's economy were studied to collect the data. Through this data, we studied how PSL affected the Pakistan Cricket Board, whether it was profitable or not. How PSL affected PCB would be similar to how PSL will affect Pakistan's economy, as they are directly related. Return on investment analysis and profit from the matches were studied to support and analyses the research. The findings of the research revealed that PCB has been receiving quite a huge amount in the form of profit from the league. Every season was a great success for the Pakistan Cricket Board. Even in the first season, when they estimated an amount of $ 300,000 as their profit, they received an immense amount of US$ 2.6 million. Even though the franchises were not making much of a profit, they were still fully supporting the league. It was also seen that PSL could have done so much better in its latest season, which was season five and six if, the Corona pandemic had not disrupted it. en_US
