dc.description.abstract Covid-19 has caused a serious scenario all around the globe as the pandemic is getting worst from the time it actually emerged. Even some of the well developed countries could not help to manage the situation and faced a huge number of causalities. To much surprise, the better policy making and the concept of smart lockdown helped in keeping the situation under control. The current study is focusing on the situation of covid-19 in capital territory of Islamabad and the effects of the pandemic on the health care staff and the whole sector. The pandemic itself is the circumstance where doctors and paramedic staff are prone to get the disease more than the general public and the working environment in a country like Pakistan where basic requirements are not being fulfilled is a major challenge for them. It affected the people of health care sector both physically and mentally. The after effects of the pandemic on other social and economies sectors can be studied in future en_US
