dc.description.abstract As time has passed climate change has turned out to be a global threat for the world with a lot of unfortunate effects. As these dispersive effects are increasing throughout the globe, international regimes have been set up to counter these impacts caused by climate change. These regimes are trying to work and mitigate the impacts that arise with change in environmental change. They are developed through a proper mechanism but are sometimes criticized by those states which emit less greenhouse gases as these states suffer more than the developed states. The research looks into how much effective these regimes are in mitigating the effects of climate change in the world. Qualitative research method is used for the whole study. Furthermore, the research also examines how the socioeconomic sector of Pakistan is suffering from changing climatic events. In the past two decades the sectors which are most effected by environmental change includes agriculture, food, energy and health. Study will show how with time these sectors are in danger due to change in climate in Pakistan. As a nontraditional security threat, climate change is posing severe global, national and individual security apprehensions. The defense system of countries is also on a risk due to this. Pakistan as a country is impacted by the global change in climate. It emits greenhouse gases at a very low percentage yet still suffers the consequences of it. Pakistan is working to minimize the effects and to adapt with them so that future generations can be saved from it. The research study will analyze how Pakistan can control these effects and what new measures it can take so that climate change can be tackled in an effective way. en_US
