dc.description.abstract The current study was intended to assess the validation of The Interaction of person affective-cognitive and execution model (I-PACE) among Pakistani adult pornography viewers. Sample comprised of only Pakistani pornography viewers (N=280). Adult of both gender within age range 18-50 years provided the data. The data was collected through online survey form. Convenient sampling technique was used to collect data. Four instruments were used to measure study variables i.e., brief pornography screening (BPS), for measuring pornography viewing, DASS-21 for depression and anxiety, PCQ for pornography craving, and HBI for dysfunctional coping and control. Results indicated that predispositional factors in association with pornography consumption leads to lack of inhibitory control and its use as dysfunctional coping in presence of pornography craving as mediator. Path analysis further indicated that pornography craving leads to more frequent use and increase time duration of watching pornographic content when dysfunctional coping and lack of inhibitory control is present as mediators. There also found a significant difference among gender and perceived gratification from viewing IP. The perspectives of frequency on other demographic variables were also discussed. Additional findings, limitations and recommendations for future studies were also discussed en_US
