dc.description.abstract The current study was intended to explore resilience, physical appearance, and psychological distress among burn survivors. Sample comprised of 160 burn survivors with the a age range 18-80 years (M= 31.19 & SD= 11.15). Sample was selected from various inslilllles of a Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Lahore. Purposive sampling was used for /he colleclion of da/O. m Three scales were used for measuring the study variables i.e., Connor-Davidson Resilience Seal~ (CD-RISO) for assessing resilience Satisfaction with Appearance ale (SWAP- self translated m Urdu version) to assess physical appearance, and Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21 (DASniJ m Jory measuring~ the psychological distress among burn survivors. Results indicate that /here is a positive relationship between resilience and physical appearance (r= .16, p~ 0. 05). Resilience is m negatively correlated with depression (r= -. 66, p<.O. 01). anxiety (r= -. 58, p<O. 01) and stress (r= a -.63, p<0.01). Furthermore, a negative relationship between depression (r= -.18, p<.0.05). anxiety (r= -.3../. p<0.01) and stress(r= -.17, p<:...0,05) with physical appearance was found. Additional findings, limitations and recommendations for future studies are also discussed. en_US
