dc.description.abstract In this thesis the researcher has investigated the populist strategies adopted by the newspaper of India and Pakistan related to Imran Khan and Narendra Modi researcher implies framing theory, theoretical framework and content analysis. Researcher analyze all the stories appearing in the Pakistani newspaper “Dawn News” and Indian newspaper “The Hindu” related to Imran Khan and Narendra Modi, two months before elections in Pakistan and India Researcher found that Imran Khan was mainly reported in terms of anti elites and also promoting conspiracies in our political system of Pakistan On other hand Narendra Modi was reported in terms of leadership qualities as well as pro people in his approach. Additionally most of the stories on the populist attribute of Imran Khan and Narendra Modi reported on political spheres as compare to security, foreign policy, economics, religion and social issues. en_US
