dc.description.abstract This study investigates the factors causing knowledge worker productivity with moderating effect of job satisfaction in construction industry of twin cities in Pakistan. This study has considered firm/environment related factors, job related factors and employee related factors as independent variables, job satisfaction as moderating variable, and knowledge worker productivity as dependent variable. However, construction industry in twin cities of Pakistan has been the sector chosen to investigate the relationship between factors (firm/environment related factors, job related factors and employee related factors), job satisfaction and knowledge worker productivity in construction industry in twin cities of Pakistan. Quantitative research method has been used as primary data was collected through adaptive structured questionnaire based on 5 Likert scale. The responses have been recorded from 300 respondents (employees) working in construction industry of twin cities in Pakistan through convenience sampling technique. Responses recorded were analyzed through statistical instruments such as correlation and regression by using SPSS Software. The results indicate that firm/environment related factors, job related factors and employee related factors significantly impact knowledge worker productivity in construction industry in twin cities of Pakistan. However, moderation analysis has revealed that change in job satisfaction brings a significant change in the relationship between factors (firm/environment related factors, job related factors and employee related factors) and knowledge worker productivity in construction industry in twin cities of Pakistan. en_US
