dc.description.abstract This study has focused mainly on identifying the role of leadership styles on project performance with mediating effect of psychological empowerment in textile industry of Pakistan. This study has considered transformational leadership and transactional leadership as independent variables, psychological empowerment as mediating variable, and project performance as dependent variable. However, textile industry of Pakistan has been the sector chosen for this study and employees working in textile industry of Pakistan have been finalized for data collection. Research instrument used within this study for the collection of data from respondents has been the structured questionnaire adapted from previous research studies. Various statistical instruments (such as descriptive frequencies, reliability, correlation, regression, etc.) have been used primarily to identify the relationship between variables of this study. Results have been drawn through statistical instruments mentioned above, with the help of SPSS software. Based on the findings, it has been found that there exists a positive relationship between transformational leadership and transactional leadership (independent variables), psychological empowerment (mediating variable), and project performance (dependent variable) in textile industry of Pakistan. Conclusively, this study has proved that leadership styles significantly impacts project performance with mediating effect of psychological empowerment in textile industry of Pakistan. en_US
