dc.description.abstract The research study deals with the aspects of emotional intelligence in relation to project management in extension to 2018 Rezvani study of emotional intelligence as unified construct. Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Others Awareness, Others Management are the four dimensions of emotional intelligence that are elaborated on by the researcher. A quantitative sample analysis is done of telecom sector in Pakistan through questionnaire survey with the aim of achieving an elaborate construct of relationships for better team performance. In addition, the effect of emotional intelligence on functionality of organizational team such as performance is identified through application of team trust and relationship conflict as mediators. The study is conducted to enhance team EI as a multi-dimensional construct in project management. The results of the regression analysis indicates that team trust and relationship conflict mediates the relationship between different dimensions of emotional intelligence and team performance. These finding shall help the project practitioners to increase the positive effect of team trust and to mitigate the negative effect of relationship conflict through enhancing the emotional skills and thus improving the team performance. en_US
