dc.description.abstract | Comparative Analysis of Obama and Trumps Administration; Case Study of the Afghan Peace Process analyses the policies of United States towards Afghanistan keeping neo-classical realism in mind. It investigates the historical perspective of how and why the United States got involved in Afghanistan in the first place and why it is still involved over there. The thesis compares the different dynamics, in light with neo-classical realism, that both Obama and Trump administrations faced and how they dealt with those situations in trying to implement their foreign policy goals regarding Afghanistan. The research analyses different literatures, from primary documents of the United States government to published articles and books regarding the subject matter and tries to understand why attaining peace in Afghanistan has been such a daunting task. | en_US |
