dc.description.abstract The geographical and geostrategic location of Afghanistan and Pakistan is tremendously significant. In recent era Afghanistan & Pakistan are facing terrorism and both countries are focal point for the whole world. I have tried to show the scenario of Pak-Afghan relations pre and post 9/11. In this research, the boosting of India’s relations with Afghanistan and how their cooperation has affected Pakistan in every field has also been discussed. The Indian interest in Afghanistan and access to Central Asian States for natural resources and how India is maintaining good relations with the regional and international players using soft power approach to pursue its hegemonic designs in South and Central Asia have also been illustrated en_US
