dc.description.abstract The present study aimed to assess India’s emerging trajectory of foreign policy under Narendra Modi’s premiership. The study explored that Modi is a major influential personality on Indian foreign policy front. Since Narendra Modi came in to power, the Indian foreign policy dynamics change dramatically. Narendra Modi foreign policy is aggressive, hawkish and provocative towards Pakistan. The present study analyzed that Modi’s aggressive foreign policy behavior affecting peace process between the both neighboring states. Since the Modi came in to power, both rivalries are facing Two major theories Realism and Classical Realism are highly dominated Indian foreign policy under the leadership of Narendra Modi. The present study assessed the role of Modi’s foreign policy under the lens of Realism and Classical Realism. Both theories are supporting that personal characteristics of a political leader on foreign policy of a country are more important. The personality of a political leader had remained a major issue of discussion among scholars because the personality of a leader has importance in the foreign policy decision-making process of a developing and under developing countries e.g India and Pakistan. The study found that Modi has anti-Pakistan agenda due to his link with Hindu extremist organization. Modi want to attain his objective to corner Pakistan from world politics and to prove Pakistan a terrorists state. He is neglecting major confronting issue of Kashmir. Due to Modi’s aggressive foreign policy behavior towards Pakistan, both states couldn’t maintain peace and friendly neighborhood relations. en_US
