dc.description.abstract As with time, man has made different advances in fields of life, he has also shown spectacular advancement in the field of technology. Man has helped himself and others by performing several tasks with mastery. Now, any intricate work can be made simple without wasting time. We know that in schools and institutes, marking attendances is a diligent process which takes a lot of time. Marking attendances manually can never be 100% accurate due to human errors which are made intentionally or unintentionally. Similarly, unregistered students sit in the class they are not registered for and cause mishandling. Putting light on the fact, our attendance can be used to rationalize this process and to boost efficiency. In the given system, the user data is saved as name, image and designation which is collectively known as database (SQL Server Database). To establish the connection, the User (teacher) will first place the camera in front of the candidate, that will be used to detect one's face. If matched, the student will be verified in seconds followed by marking his/her attendance. If not, the system will save his/her image and send it to database labelling the student as an ‘unknown’. Furthermore, this system will generate an alert while detecting an outsider. Admin and trainer can also command it. en_US
