Since the number of mobile phone users are also expected to increase in the coming years, this development shows a limitation in the implementation of centralized mobility management. In this paper, Therefore a distributed Proxy Mobile IPv6 scheme is used to minimize the cost along with signaling overhead and efficient architecture. Moreover, the routing over 6LoWPAN network for the The Internet of Things is vulnerable to various types of attacks such as gray holes, sinkholes, and wormholes. These attacks are the most destructive because they prevent network devices communication. The existing mechanisms are not providing robust solutions against such kind of attacks. Further, the device mobility is not very well considered in these mechanism. In this paper we proposes a Trust-based mechanism for Intrusion detection system (TBM-IDS) for the attacks on 6LoWPAN networks to identify the sinkhole, warmhole, and grayhole attacks by combining watchdog, trust and reputation strategies for the attack detection by analyzing the nodes behavior. This technique is compared with the existing InDRes mechanism, results are then shown in the end. The efficacy of the proposed technique is assess through comparative analysis using Ns-3 simulation tool |
