dc.description.abstract This project’s main idea involves mobile shoppers with personal digital assistants (PDA) interacting with store services while in the mall, on the way to the store, or in the store itself. Mall-wide services, such as directories and locators are available through the PDA connected to E-Marketplace. The project is intended to automate the process of buying and selling by using wifi based e-shopping in an E-Marketplace environment. Wifi based e-shopping need a special software system as a living environment on each platform, which should participate in a mobile agent network. Thus, every platform in the network covers a network-connected host with a special application for receiving, sending, starting, and executing agents. This application, often called agent server mobile agents as well as defining a place on a host where mobile agents can be secured executed. The wifi based e-shopping technology will take E-Marketplace trading to the next phase. Mobile agents are intelligent, independent, and proactive electronic representatives of their users such as buyers, suppliers, customers, or even whole companies which can relieve marketplace participants from lots of routine works. Mobile agents can easily offer connections to mobile devices such as personal digital assistants (PDA) or mobile phones. Besides, mobile agents add even more business opportunities to the sellers of different goods and services in a marketplace. This can lead to a new quality of saving costs while expanding business activities for different companies en_US
