dc.description.abstract Design & Implementation of a Demineralized Water Plant,as the name indicates,is a fully automated plant which continuously monitors and maintains the pH of water at a certain value. The main purpose and theme of doing this project is to gain knowledge about control and processing industry and how things practically work over there. The controlling component used in this project is a FPGA kit which is connected to four different modules. These modules are main switching module, level sensing module,pH sensing module and power module. The power module consists of an independent power supply responsible for giving desired powers to different modules.Level sensing module comprises of level sensors which continuously monitor the liquid level in the tanks and updates the main switching module accordingly.pH module comprises of a pH probe and pH sensors which continuously check the pH of the solution and updates the main switching module.Main switching module is the brain of this system which depends upon the inputs from the level sensing and pH modules and hence switches on and off different ac valves, pump and dc motor accordingly. In this way this project becomes a standalone system which maintains and monitors the pH of raw water. Such prototype designs can help industries to train there new entrants before even putting them into practical field. Besides the usage of plant as drinking water plant, such plants can be applied in rural areas for the need of small scale industries. In short this project can go a long distance in acquiring various objectives for practical & industrial applications which can truly make some major step forward in achieving a power saving and secure environment around us en_US
