| dc.description.abstract | Automated control systems are very essential for the environment control in the greenhouses. The increase in plantation productivity is also becomes urgent thing in human life. The appropriate environment conditions are necessary for the optimum growth of plant and quality of the crop yields. The conventional methods for controlling the environment of greenhouses are not very much effective and efficient. These conventional methods results in the loss of energy, labor, time and productivity. These conventional methods also fail to provide the real time information. In order to maintain a steady environment in greenhouses it is essential to strike a balance between the available resources and the conditions of environment and it also needed more accurate control with serious monitoring. In this project we develop a sophisticated system that is easy to install, microcontroller based circuit which obtain various environment parameters such as temperature, humidity and soil moisture that are essential for the growth of plant. The microcontroller also connected with various sensors in real time in order to control internal environment. A model of greenhouse is also constructed with sensors and controllers install in it. In this system we also get real time information about different parameters of the environment. According to this real time information the desired operations are performed to maintain the internal environment of greenhouse. The information about various parameters is also displayed on liquid crystal display. The MATLAB graphs are also helpful to improve the productivity of crop by using greenhouse. We also bridging the gap between the resources that are available and the changing the climate conditions. This makes our proposed system to be economical and a low cost maintenance solution for greenhouse applications | en_US |
