Abstract:
In the modem world the need for automation is increasing as there is a great technological
advancement and revolution serving almost all the profession oflife. Technology has made
lives much easier than it was for e.g. cellphones, robots etc. Rapid change in technology
from existing to new in a short period accelerated the innovations and healthy technical
competition. It promotes creative ideas and Research & Development.
"Eye tracking based smart room automation” is a system through which disable person
can get independent to control his room. The system is especially for those who even can’t
speak or move their body properly like after brain stroke and having tetraplegia. This
system requires eye signals from person, which is processed using computer vision, eye
signal is used for two purposes blink detection and iris tracking. Output generated from
eye signal is used to access the room appliances.
