dc.description.abstract Sustainable development strategy increases the sustainable performance of an organization by using the resources efficiently, less waste, good reputation due to social work, improvement of customer preferences and capability for new innovation. As consumers are becoming more aware of the environmental issues caused by manufacturing and supply of different products, multinational companies such as HP and IBM are taking necessary steps to integrate sustainability into their supply chains and also moving towards products that are green, environment friendly and sustainable. the impact of sustainably practices on the organization’s performance (cost performance, quality performance and environmental performance) the study didn’t not include all the features of Sustainable supply chain management. There is very little study done by researches on Green Innovation and the relationship between Sustainable Supply Chain Management Practices (SSCMP) and the organizations environmental performance. The data was collected through a five-point Liker questionnaire, from which 512 samples of 263 responses from Pakistan's manufacturing industry are obtained. Regression equation modeling was used to analyze data. This study contributes to and extends the growing research stream of SSCM by merging it with business ethics research. In particular, it examined the relationships among corporate motives, sustainable supply-chain practices, and firm performance. The findings of significant positive relationships between motives, practices, and performance outcomes constitute an important contribution to the literature in SSCM. This study represents a unique treatment to SSCM research in that most studies exploring these links have been qualitative in nature and large-scale quantitative analyses remain very limited. en_US
