There is very little study done by researches on Green Innovation and the relationship between Sustainable Supply Chain Management Practices (SSCMP) and the organizations environmental performance. The data was collected through a five-point Liker questionnaire, from which 512 samples of 263 responses from Pakistan's manufacturing industry are obtained. Regression equation modeling was used to analyze data. This study contributes to and extends the growing research stream of SSCM by merging it with business ethics research. In particular, it examined the relationships among corporate motives, sustainable supply-chain practices, and firm performance. The findings of significant positive relationships between motives, practices, and performance outcomes constitute an important contribution to the literature in SSCM. This study represents a unique treatment to SSCM research in that most studies exploring these links have been qualitative in nature and large-scale quantitative analyses remain very limited. |
