Abstract:
This study is about dimensions of supply chain management (SCM) practices and identifying the relationship between SCM practices. Operational Performance and moderating role of Information system practices \\'ith spec ial emphasis on small medium size enterprises (SMEs) in Sialkot Pakistan. Data for this study was collected from sample size of 165 manufacturing SMEs operating in Sialkot city of Pakistan. The research framework was tested on spss software. The results indicate that SCM practices have posit i,·e impact on operational performance and posit\·c moderating role of lnfonn::ition system practices. The limitations of this study were its n2r:O'N focus on spc:!s ::ie:::.!factoring industry cf S2i lk ct. By developing and va lidat ing a multi dimensional construct of SCM practices and by exhibiting its value in improving operational performance of SM Es.It provides SCM managers with useful tool for e,·allaying the e efficiency of their current SC\·! precipices. This Paper adds to the body of knowledge by providing new data and relationship between SCM practices and operational performance of SM Es operating in Sialkot Pakistan.
