dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to examine the factors effecting supply chain performance. The research framework consists often hypotheses. An empirical study was conducted in Pakistan, and the data was collected from 250 respondents of manufacturing firms available in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The results indicate that IT Infrastructure, Information Sharing, and Supplier Management have significant impact on supply chain performance. The role of the supply chain is growing significantly. Well managed Supply Chain brings cost benefits, agility, and flexibility to the businesses and increase supply chain performance. The objective of this research is to review the literature on SC perfonnance and also focuses on the various theoretical frameworks, approaches and their classifications using a structured approach. Thus, all hypotheses were supported. The data was analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and correlation between independent and dependent variables. The analyses involved statistical methods such as reliability and multiple regressions. The methodology followed during the conduct of this research includes a broad base of articles lying at the intersection of supply chain, information sharing, IT Infrastructure, supplier management, and effective collaboration topics and then screening the list to have a focus on supply chain performance measurement. This study presents theoretical contributions and managerial implications. At last, limitations regarding future research directions are discussed. | en_US |
