dc.description.abstract The aim of this study was to see the role of social support on work stress. The study was quantitative and questionnaire is used for the collection of data. The Intended audience includes managers of banking sector of twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Social support, emotional support, instrumental support, informational support, appraisal support, supervisor support were independent variable and work stress was dependent variable. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis using SPSS. The results confirmed hypothesized outcomes that social supports has inverse relationship with work stress. en_US
