dc.description.abstract Turnover intentions among nurses is a global issue. However in Pakistan most of the nurses quit their jobs because of the work related issues. Research has shown that Motivation enhancing practices increase OCB behavior among nurses which results in less intentions to quit the job. The aim of this study is to determine how Motivation Enhancing practices results in Low turnover intentions. This study focuses on the impact of motivation enhancing practices on turnover intentions among nurses through the mediating effect of Organization Citizenship Behavior Organization and Organization Citizenship Behavior Individual in twin cities of Pakistan. Respondents were divided into two categories of hospitals i.e. public and private hospitals. Based on the past literature and theories close ended Questionnaires were distributed in hospitals among the nurse staff in twin cities of Pakistan. Results have been drawn with the help of SPSS. The methods suggested by Barron and Kenny (1986) is used for mediation Analysis. Result shows that that there is a negative relationship between Motivation enhancing practices and turnover intentions. However the mediation influences of OCBO and OCBI are partial on the relationship of Motivation Enhancing Practices and turnover intentions. Analysis of the respondent’s recommends that Top management in health care sector should offer HR Practices which makes the employees more committed towards their jobs. On the basis of that it is recommended to increase the Motivation Enhancing practices among the staff to increase their Organization citizenship behavior which results in low turnover intentions. Further research is needed to have better understanding of the variables and other variables should be incorporated. en_US
