dc.description.abstract Studies suggest that there is an increased number of studies being conducted on ethical leadership & sources for these ethical behavior. Based on this evidence, a model was furthered in which it was proposed that how empowering leadership behavior manifest in ethical leadership that has a positive outcome for the leaders along with the moderating effect of the leader's self-control on empowering behavior- ethical eldershi-p -outcomes relationship. The model was tested on 9lleaders from PTCL spread all across Pakistan (leaders rated their self-control) while subordinates (rated their leaders empowering behavior, ethical leadership & outcomes). Findings of the research provide evidence of the mediating role of ethical leadership where high or low level of leader self-control does not act as a moderator.
