| dc.description.abstract | We are trying to introduce a new electric car in our country that will overcome the ordinary running cars on petrol, diesel or CNG. This car would be capable of running within a city easily. It would be a front wheel drive, having five gears, four forward and one reverse gear and it would be able to carry four persons easily. Along with having headlights, indicators, horn and speedometer it would also have some special features like mileage indicator, voltage indicator, ampere meter, battery prevention circuits etc. It would be an environment friendly car with low noise and no pollution. It would be very much cost effective. A smallest electric car that we import from abroad costs us around 6,00,000 (6 lacs) Rs/- , we are making our car in an estimate of 96,000 Rs/- Gas load shedding and fuel prices are increasing day by day. Moreover these are limited resources of Earth so we have decided to make a car that will run on electricity which is a lot cheaper than petrol diesel or gas. It would also run on low power consumption as compared to ordinary car. Later at some stage we have a plan to further extend our approach and would make it possible to charge this car through solar energy using solar panel. For this purpose we are leaving some space in structure of our car for installation of solar panel. | en_US |
