dc.description.abstract Image processing and objects detection has been improved a great deal in the past few years. However, distance measurement between any two objects during live footage of quad-copter or drones through image processing and trigonometric operations is a new addition to it. Measuring distances between objects has various applications including map generation on real time, finding statistics of a trip to certain areas before going etc. In the past there were very few techniques used to calculate such distances, but they are not useful in this modern age. With the new research and algorithms and using the latest tools and techniques, it is possible to achieve higher accuracy rates then before. The proposed project is to develop a system that can measure and show the distance between two objects in runtime. en_US
