Abstract:
The study aimed to investigate the factors that impact the triple bottom line variables also
known as economic, environmental and social performance among the manufacturing
firms of Karachi, Pakistan. The quantitative approach was adopted along with explanatory
purpose and non-experimental correlational design. The study collected a total of 256
samples from the reverse logistics supply chain of Karachi, Pakistan. This study has used
a quantitative approach for data collection and the data will be collected using purposive
sampling that can be analyze using PLS-SEM via Smart PLS 3.2.8. The conclusions
derived from the data analysis showed that the effectiveness of disposition decisions was
positively significant in affecting economic performance. The effectiveness of disposition
decisions was also positively significant in affecting environmental performance. Also, the
positively significant in affecting the social effectiveness of disposition decisions
performance. It is recommended to the managers in the pharmaceutical firms to emphasize on
effective disposition decision to enhance the economic performance of their
organization including the external and internal factors of the decision making.
