Abstract:
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to find out impact of information sharing in the supply chain on
the performance of organization in Pakistan. For understanding the information sharing
process in the firms, there are eight variables that are study such as CSR, IIP, IIT, IS, IQ, CP,
DP and MFP. The purpose is to explain the empirical analysis of the factors that can create
information sharing and impacted the firm’s performance.
Methodology & Design
Many studies and researches are examined and developed the seven hypotheses to study the
factors having impact on the performance,
quantitative in nature and for that questionnaire is used to analyze the clear opinions of
respondents. The structural model has been used with PLS software and SPSS to find out the
relationship and impact ofthe variables on other variables.

Findings
The findings of the study show that information sharing has significant impact on the CSR
that leads to firm performance in terms of cost, delivery and financially. It has been found
that IIP and IS has positively significance with CSR and information sharing is impacted by
the IIT and IQ which shows this can change the performance of firm. The testing also
accepted the hypothesis generated in this research.
Limitations
The study is limited to the eight variables and their impact on the organizational performance
in the supply chain so further variables can also be taken for the study. The study is limited to
the overall industry and specifically manufacturing industry so further study can be done
specifically on other industry as well.
Recommendations
It is suggested for the management of firms to understand the significance of information
sharing with the in-depth understanding of all concepts in the developing countries to analyze
it more specifically. They also suggested that they must ensure and understand that what data
and information are needed to share with their partners in order to create the better
performance and growth in firm.
