dc.description.abstract Purpose: The Purpose of this research is to investigate the role, current levels, and importance of emotional intelligence among the healthcare employees in Medicare Hospital situated in Karachi, Sindh. It also explores the relationships of El to the quality care and effective performance, significance of competencies and personal traits to the El level among individuals. This survey helps in understanding the role El and if there is better El apprehension then it will be fruitful in yielding quality care for the patients. Methodology & Design: An exploratory questionnaire-based research including 34 items, instrumented by Likert scale was adopted, modified and then were distributed online through Google forms to the healthcare workers situated in various positions and departments of Medicare hospital. In this study the research approach is deductive and non-probability convenient sampling technique was used Microsoft excel, SPSS, Smart PLS were the software used to record the data, to do the descriptive, correlational, regression analyses, to check scale reliability, and to run the testing of hypothesis en_US
