dc.description.abstract | With each increase in facilities for customers to be connected to internet, organizations are increasing the support for their customers and provided services on behalf of their networking infrastructure. Their expenditures are providing enough resources to the support for their customers and improve their product user experience in terms of quality and interaction. The main problem comes where the area is least focused on is about the security of the infrastructure where most of their expenses are applied. This is due to lesser knowledge and awareness in people regarding network and infrastructure vulnerabilities and security. For such reasons, the proposed project is to give knowledge to people by learning about networking infrastructure and its vulnerabilities by applying different practices like security hacking, malware analysis, phishing, etc. Different types of cyber ranges have been made in order to provide better learning experience for users but they lack many things such as bad user interaction, inexperience design and low amount of resources to support the infrastructure. These platforms have been used by multiple organizations and received similar kind of problems. The proposed project is about providing a better user experience, design and better infrastructure support for the user with great hardware efficiency. The proposed project is about provided infrastructure based on containers which is based on technology of Linux c-group. It allows you to perform virtualization upon same operating system kernel. It utilizes significantly lesser resources than a virtual machine which consist of dedicated operating systems. The drawback containers have is that it only supports Unix based programs and software packages but the its efficient resource usage is enough to prove its worth. | en_US |
