dc.description.abstract | In this era of technology, more and more gadgets are used for task accomplishment. Number of applications are increasing day by day. People are so much busy in their daily lifes that they are not even getting proper rest. We have designed an android application for drivers. As the rate of accidents is increasing day by day due to sleepiness. This application is designed to alert the driver so that they can drive without being sleepy. We used 68 points facial landmark to estimate the location of 68 points or coordinates which map to the facial structure. This system is programmed with Python and established for Android. Other systems can also be targeted but our main focus is Android. The user will start detection and fix the camera so that the face can be easily detected. After face detection eye coordinates will be retrieved and eye aspect ratio will be calculated. Eye aspect ratio will be compared for a certain number of frames. If drowsiness is detected then the user will be alerted by ringing an alarm. User can check the nearby places like atm, rest areas etc. User can also check instructions before starting detection. i | en_US |
