dc.description.abstract Purpose: The aim of this study is to understand the importance of drivers/factors of green procurement practices adopted within organization and their impact on Firm’s performance. Market pressure, Regulatory pressure, Leadership and Quality management are some ofthe key divers /facets that motivate and compel Small Medium Enterprises to endorse and implement these Green procurement actions and practices into the business operations to effectively improve the performance of organization in terms of customer satisfaction, profitability and market share. Design/Methodology/Approach: Data was collected through the information shared by the respondents in the survey carried out in Karachi, Pakistan. We have used explanatory research method in our study to examine the relation of independent variables with dependent variable. The survey was conducted online via email, Linkedln and WhatsApp and 288 responses received from the individuals and respondents working in different SMEs in Karachi. The data was used to investigate and interpret the understanding oftheoretical framework. were Findings: The findings from this research reveal that the implementation ofGP practices within organizations, specifically Small and Medium sized enterprises leads a significantly positive impact on organizational performance. The Green Procurement drivers such as, Market pressure, Regulatoiy pressure and Quality management are found to have positive relation with the performance oforganization in terms of customer satisfaction, profitability and market share. Limitations: Due to time constraints and Covid-19, we couldn’t complete the sample size, as means of data collection were restricted and could only record and collect responses using online platforms i.e. Email and WhatsApp. en_US
