Abstract:
Purpose: It is very important to analyze for the HR manager that where the gap exists
between workload, job stress, and organizational environment so that they can work to
improve the area of employee’s turnover. The purpose of this study was to determine the
impact of workload and organizational environment on employee’s turnover in Banking
sector ofKarachi, Pakistan
Methodology & Design: This study collected 384 sample responses from the bank of
employees. Karachi Pakistan's private banking sector is chosen as the target population. Data
is collected from the different private banks in Karachi. The questionnaire contains 26
questions with Likert rating scale. Data analyzes are performed through application of
various test such as correlation and SPSS regression
Findings: The results show that job stress is significant relationship with the employee
turnover (0.001, p<0.05), Workload has significant relationship with employee turnover
the value is (0.000, p<0.05) and Complex organizational environment has the value (0.211,
p>0.05) which shows insignificant relationship with employee turnover
as
Limitations: The research has been one only in the one city of Pakistan named Karachi.
Only their variables have been taken where the other variables can be seen and analyses the
data. The data has been run only in the SPSS software.
Recommendations: In the association ofjob stress and employee turnover rate, managers
are recommended to as their employees for the day to day planning along with weekly and
monthly where the goals are being prioritize and employee done with their work accordingly.
Furthermore, in the ground of workload association with the employee turnover rate,
managers are recommended to ask the employees for the quality not a quantity of the task
that must be done in the end of the day. Lastly provide a flexible schedule or working hours
so that they can easily perform their job which reduce stress and workload.
