dc.description.abstract Purpose The main purpose ofthis research is to analyze the impact ofsocial media on employee woik performance. The aim ofthis study is to identify the impacts of independent variables on dependent variable work performance in multiple sectors of Karachi. The independent variables adopted for the research includes social media use at work,knowledge sharing,communication, trust. Whereas the dependent variable is work performance. Methodology & Design This research is conducted on the basis of quantitative method. Non-probability convenience technique was used in sampling technique for this research. For collecting data, hard and soft copy of questionnaire was circulated among the employees in multiple sectors of Karachi. Furthermore, Correlation and Regression test were conducted in order to analyze the data obtained. i Findings On the basis ofthe results there is an impact of Knowledge sharing and trust on work performance whereas the social media use at work and Communication does not show an impact on work performance. Limitations : This research was limited to Karachi city only, the cost was also limited and the time was short these were the reasons that effects the results and Findings ofthis research project. I Recommendations Organizations are recommended to focus on enhancing or improving work performance and for that they should provide social media access to employees, developing trust, communication and knowledge sharing. These should be a major focus of any organization as it leads to better work performance. en_US
