Abstract:
One of the major contributors in firm performance is supplier. Supplier performance is a key
factor to gain and maintain competitive edge in the highly competitive environment.
Purpose: The study was conducted to identify the role of ERP system implementation on
supplier’s performance based on information access, integration, partnership with supplier
and improved decision-making and forecasting.
Problem Investigated: Study investigated that Supplier performance can impact by
implementation of ERP Systems in light of four main factors information access, integration,
partnership with supplier, improved decision-making and forecasting. Study Design: Four independent and one dependent variable were derived on the basis of
were formed to check the impact of literature. Then four hypotheses according to objectives
ERP implementation on supplier performance. The hypothesis are; HI: Information Access
significantly impacts the supplier performance. H2: Supplier Integration significantly impacts
the supplier performance. H3:Partnership with suppliers significantly impacts the supplier
performance. H4: Enhanced Decision Making and Planning significantly impact the supplier performance. For the purpose 301 respondents were approached to gather data. An online five point like scale close ended questionnaire was settled to collect the data. After completion data was first go through the reliability check individually for each variable and after the satisfactory result multiple linear regressions was run to check the significance of each independent variable on dependent variable are measure the relationship and effectiveness of model.
