Purpose The aim ofthis research is to explore the impact of emotional intelligence, managers
competencies, and transformational leadership on project success. The research is significant
because, it deals with success ofa project and how managers act accordingly to make it happen.
Thus, a manager needs to have certain skills set required to streamline all the project tasks and
achieve the required deliveries. This study is basically carried out to examine these roles and
competencies which required to make a project success.
Methodology: The research undermines a quantitative research methodology follows a
deductive approach. The sample size forthis study is 200 whereas, the data is collected through
primary sources. The research instrument for the study is questionnaire. The collected data is
then analyzed through Cronbach alpha, regression test and correlation test.
Findings: The findings from the statistical tests suggest that, 62% of the total variation in
project success can be examined through the model. The findings also indicate that, Emotional
Intelligence, Managers competence and, transformational leadership all ofthese variables got
accepted as their Sig. P values is lower than 0.05 and provides an evidence that all the research
hypothesis is accepted. Similarly, the previous studies also provide critical analysis and
endorsement with our results. The next section of this study indicates recommendations for
this research.
Implications: The study has three major elements (TL) Transformational leadership, (MC)
Managers competence & (El) Emotional Intelligence. Firstly, the senior management needs to
play their role in developing strategy related to MC which aids in building the project skills
among team. El should be developed through trainings and practicing it in daily basis in day
to day projects. ManCom needs to develop culture of TL specifically from strategy related
projects. |
