Abstract:
Purpose
In today’s world organizations are very conscious about their internal and external
stakeholders, especially in past few decades there is a lot emphasis on employees and workers
which are considered as most important part of business and firms. For this phenomena the
most important part ofemployees on job is their performance evaluation process which allows
them to grow in the organization and society both financially and morally.
The main purpose of this research wasto assessthe effects ofperformance appraisal procedures
onjob outcomes such as satisfaction and turnover intention. The research was primarily related
to employees working in power sector organization of Pakistan.
Methodology & Design
Research was conducted by using a questionnaire which was submitted by 304 individuals of
different age group. The nature ofthe research was quantitative and the primary source ofdata
was used for collection through online survey. The cross sectional sampling technique was
used and Regression, Correlation statistical tool in SPSS were used.
The dependent variables was Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention and Independent
Variable was Performance appraisal politics.
Findings
The results showed that there is a significant positive effect of PAP performance appraisal
politics on TI turnover intention and have negative effect on JS job satisfaction
