Abstract:
Purpose: The objective was to determine the impact ofshared vision, network ties, and trust
on knowledge transfer. To determine the impact ofshared vision, network ties, and trust on
work performance. Also, regulate the impact ofknowledge transfer on the work
performance.
Methodology: The population ofthis research study is employees ofthe service industry of
Pakistan. The study has aimed to collect 384 responses from the population. The study was
suitable to adopt nonprobability sampling technique. The study used PLS-SEM analysis.
Findings: The connection between knowledge transfer and work performance has showed a
negative and significant impact. Secondly, the impact of network ties on knowledge transfer
and work performance has been positive insignificant and significant respectively. Fourthly,
the influence ofshared vision on the knowledge transfer and work performance is positive
and significant. However, trust has a noteworthy and positive relationship with knowledge
transfer and work performance.
Limitations: This study was conducted in context ofthe human resource in the banking
sector organizations only.
Implications: The first relationship connection between knowledge transfer and work
performance is proved to be negative and significant. Hence, the managers are recommended
to make this learning process a mandatory task in order to hire employees and provide only
relevant information that could help employees in achieving their task.
