dc.description.abstract Purpose: This study aims at determining the impact ofself-efficacy and employee engagement on employees’ job performance in the banking sector ofKarachi, Pakistan. Methodology: The research population ofthe current study is the employees of banks in Karachi, Pakistan. The sample size was 247 responses. Hence, the study has used convenience sampling technique due to unknown population size but large population horizon for easy accessibility to the sample population. Using multiple linear regression analysis, the study has aimed to analyze the collected data for hypothesis testing. Findings: At first, the relationship between employee engagement and job performance is positive and significant. Secondly, the impact of self-efficacy on job performance is also positive and significant. Limitations: Firstly, the sample size of the present study is not very large to provide generalized findings. Secondly, the present study deals with the banking sector of Karachi, Pakistan; therefore, it is not conceivable to predict the scenarios of other industries by applying the findings of the present study. en_US
