| dc.description.abstract | Purpose The paper is aimed at the discussion of the implementation of the Integrated Management System in towel industries. IMS is a vast term and encompasses different methods of quality assurance. One can achieve far greater results by inducing IMS in his organization. In this paper we have first of all taken a brief overview of the towel industry of Pakistan and then moved on towards the few complications the industry is facing in this respect. Integration of management systems such as for quality, environment, occupational health and safety, is a doable organizational approach to cost saving, effective deployment ofresources, greater inspiration for staffs, and better compliance to societal obligations and stakeholders ‘requirements. Identification of drivers for commercial inspiration for IMS decision making and its execution is a matter of interest for experts, industry, and government regulatory administrations; in contradiction literature on this matter is reedy. This paper describes the literature review and research agenda for the exploration offactors ofIMS and influencing IMS implementation. After that I have given concise introduction of the Integrated Management System and then written about different aspects through which it can be incorporated in our towel industry.
