AN IMPACT OF WORKING CAPITAL MANAGEMENT ON CORPORATE PROFITABILITY OF AUTOMOBILE SECTOR IN PAKISTAN

Abstract

This paper is prepared with an enthusiasm to check and elaborate the findings of our research. Our research topic is “An impact of working Capital Management (WCM) on Corporate Profitability of Automobile Sector in Pakistan”. Our study mainly emphasize on Automobile manufacturing sector of Pakistan to apply the concepts and to check whether companies are utilizing their working capital resources efficiently. For creating the relationship between company’s growth and working capital we have opted Return on Assets (ROA) as dependent variable. Whereas, we used account receivable in days or average collection per period (ACP), inventory turnover in days (ITID), average payment per period (APP) and cash conversion cycle (CCC) as independent variable.
