dc.description.abstract Purpose: The main aim ofthis research is to determine impact ofstress competition syndrome on employee performance in banking industry. The banking industry is reporting the problem of increasing stress among their employees which results in decreasing performance and spreading negativity among the firm. In order to examine this impact the research undermines a quantitative research methodology followed by a deductive research approach. ! Methodology: The research possesses a sample size of 300 respondents while, the research variable includes (independent variables: Job Security, workload, lack of motivation, working environment, & role ambiguity) whereas, the dependent variable is performance ofemployees. The research utilizes Regression analysis for findings out the impact while, Cronbach alpha for testing the reliability. Findings: The findings from the reliability test shows that, the internal consistency of the research variables is acceptable as well as, the research scale too. Most importantly the findings from the Regression test show that, all the research variables have significant impact of Working environment which is insignificant having the Sig. employee performance except the P value higher than 0.05. In conclusion the research highlights the fact that, the regression shows an impact of 49% variation in the employee performance, which provides evidence that, Stress level needs to be managed by the firm considering these factors if the bank needs to have a consistent performance which in turns worked for the progression of a concrete bank, else the overall bank would suffer. en_US
