dc.description.abstract | Purpose The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of Human Resource Planning, Recruitment and Selection practices and current processes- on the performance ofthe rapidly growing sector ofthe country i.e. “the Pharmaceutical sector . Methodology & Design Research model selected is explanatory. Research was carried out by using questionnaire. The questionnaire was floated between the top and middle level managers pharmaceutical’s vicinity. 213 respondents responded to the floated questionnaire. Findings Results stipulated these three practices have positive impact on performance of the pharmaceutical companies or sector as a whole. It also portrays the current trends within the industry. within the Limitations The research was limited to the pharmaceutical sector ofKarachi division only as floating the questionnaire to other divisions was not made possible due to the absence of contacts and also because oflimited time period in hand. Recommendations The current research took three HR practices into consideration in order to analyze the impact ofthese practices on performance ofpharmaceutical sector. Other practices and processes such as Employee Retention, Career development, Performance appraisal etc. could also be taken into consideration | en_US |
