Abstract:
Purpose: The study aims to measure the impact of intrinsic motivation and rewards on
employee engagement in both public and private sectors. The study emphasis on the
characteristics which can conduce to employee engagement. This study can also be
beneficent for HR managers in Aviation sector
Methodology & Design: Close ended questions were used to get responses of the different
department of PCAA, P1A, Air Blue, Shaheen and Air Eagle. Questionnaires were sent to
different stations and Airlines to get their responses through Google forms. This research is
of quantitative in nature. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling and the
sample size is set to 224 employees. Reliability test, correlation and multiple regression tests
were run by using SPSS tools for study.
Findings: our results shows that there is positive significant relationship of Motivation (
Need for Affiliation, Training & Development and Career Development programs) on
employee Engagement while Rewards have positive impact but for certain duration.
Limitations: There is a certain boundary drawn in which researcher was able to work or
limitation is defined as the work of researcher that was under his/her own control. And
beyond that was uncontrollable and was limited to that extent. There are a limitations in Data
collection, Time constraints and Aviation Flat Organogram.
