| dc.description.abstract | This project demonstrates the requirements and specifications for a model of a Fire Fighting Robot. Nowadays Robotic technology is progressing very rapidly. Simple household chores can be done using inexpensive robots very easily. The motivation is to make a prototype of a robot which can put out fires in a small building or structure. The robot is based on wheel driven by unipolar stepper motors. The robot is operated by a battery source. The firefighting robot is equipped with a small water pump which helps to extinguish the fire. Smoke sensors are used to detect the smoke caused by fire or burning. Micro-controller is use for handling the main decision tasks. Heat sensors are also use to detect the heat. The aim is to de-sign a prototype which detect and tracks heat. The robot is capable of putting out fire in domestic houses as well as commercial building. | en_US |
